This Tenement contains major gold bearing quartz reef plus a high concentration of gold deposits, abandoned workings, shafts and shears.
It also is situated on the Hibernian South Fault (highlighted in yellow on in the diagram to the left)
Existing consteans have been has been conducted along the fault line on the tenement above (zones B though F) with results to 3.6 m @ 21.7 g/t Au
Existing gold discoveries on the tenement are less than 400m from positive results and are detailed as follows:
1. Excelsior (western area) – Gold Shaft, gold ore at 125.5 gram/tonne, primary mineralization style is shear zone hosted hydrothermal veins. Details are shaft depth of 12m,
2. Zone A (Central area) – Small gold mine, Costean values – 3.2 m @ 6.8 g/t Au, 2 old pits. Low-angle shearing in pyritic siltstones. Stratigraphy vertical.
3. Mountain View Extended (eastern area) – small gold mine, Gold dollied at 0.028 kilograms
